Holiday for Mickle

Hello Folks out there. Today Zebbycat was taken to his Vets' cattery, yowling all the way. He will be fine as lovely Vet Nurse Antoinette is on duty at the cattery over Christmas so he is going to get such great care with many cuddles and huggles, tickles under the chin and tummy rubs.

I'm almost packed as tomorrow (Tuesday) I fly up to my Folks place for two weeks of warmth, love and fun - via a nasty cold and wet Southerly due here tomorrow. I'll still be blogging while away and hope to get myself a digital camera while I'm up there. Plus I'll have the use of their one.

I'll be brave and tell you that not only have I finished Xmas pressie shopping, but they are all wrapped and dispatched or waiting for my personal delivery tomorrow.

Happy Silly Season to you all!

Have a wonderful holiday time, lolling about on the beach, soaking up sunshine. Don't give a thought to us poor northern folks in our fog and icy winds and rain. LOL

The folks moved away from the beach 7 years ago ....

I will be taking over their kitchen for the duration, and they happily let me!

South of here it has been hailing, and snow is forecast - no wonder I'm running away the much warmer town the Folks "retired" to nearly 20 years ago. Come February they will be complaining about the heat, lol.

Keep warm and comfy, Mary and John, huggles from Mickle, xxx

Mickle, dear, I have consulted with Thor. He assures me that with the spoiling at the Cattery, Zebby is only yowling to convince you, his dear Mama, that he loves you best, and Zebby will be content with the lovely Miss Antoinette!

As for you, have a wonderful visit with the parents, and spoil Dad silly for his birthday. I hope Liz can join the tradition again soon. And do treat yourself to a digital camera, and treat us to some wonderful photos!

Hugs from the Snowy Northeastern United States!

Poor Zebbycat! Cats sound so sad and pathetic when they do that whole yowling thing.

Lucky you heading for warmer climes - I will be staying home and have my fingers crossed for something resembling summer!

Hi Michelle, Have a wonderful Christmas with your folks. Maybe if you put a digital camera on your wish list, well maybe.......

My Christmas was going to be a quiet affair, just the 2 of us, nothing different to a normal day but...it seems to have been taken over by 2 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren that want to spend the day with us..at our place..where else? I cant say no, they dont have a Mother, Father or wife/partner to share their day. So I need to revise my thinking and join in the madness of Christmas shopping for a mountain of food. I'm getting too old for all this. AND its getting too late to start.
Is this Christmas? Surely its un-seasonal to be snowing, even in Wellington !!

You do deserve some nice time with your folks! I am sure Zebby will be missing you and vice versa but I am sure there will be plenty of hugs and treats on your return. I look forward to hearing your posts when you can tear yourself away from your R & R. Send us a photo of your brilliant tan!

Lots of love!

Have a great fun time with your folks, Mickle. And Zebby? Who could help but spoil him rotten! You are brave telling us that you're prezzy shopping is done...I'm getting close to being done, and ONLY 4 days to go!
This is Kitterz first Christmas and she thinks it's a great idea to bring a tree into the house! She lays down under it on the tree skirt and occassionally bats at the ball ornaments. Wonder what Santa will bring her?!

Be safe. Be silly. Laugh alot.
