Hello Mickle
Carrot and Orange Soup sounds very nice (and interesting). Any chance of you handing out the recipe?
Really hot here in Melbourne - whats it like where you are

Currently 13C at just after midnight.

Yes, dear Cathy, I'll post the recipe. Is cheap, yummy, good hot snd brilliant chilled.

The El Nino climate effect that is over heating you is giving Wellington a cooler Summer than usual. Try not to melt over there,

That looks good, wholesome stuff.
Your Dad looks very young at heart.
Those bare feet make me shiver though!

I see your Dad's garden bed is 2 planks high. I made mine just one high, but it is so much better than digging up the soil. Is Dad's soil very hard? Here it isn't, but I've lived places where it's like a rock. The other advantage to the raised beds is no real need to weed.

I love your Christmas day lunch, as I said to you earlier. Thanks for reminding me that warmer days will be here in only a few months! I'm off to think about my garden now! You and Zebby have a lovely weekend, and think of Thor, outside romping in the snow with his boys and neighbors!
