Please try again next year.
A Summer would have been nice. I gave up on growing my usual summer veg as all attempts did incredibly poorly.
The exception: the nadine potatoes that sprouted madly before I got to cook them. I planted them out in December and seem to have had results - the tops flourished and have yellowed so I chopped them off a few days ago. I will harvest any spuds lurking under the soil next week ...... and keep you posted on the results.

We could do with a summer here!!
As I am already dreading the approaching desert summer heat here in AZ, I might be willing to trade you for the next few months! Sorry yours didn't show at all this year.
Guess we'll have to send you the winter that we didn't have.
Poor Michelle. I'd rather miss winter than summer. Here's hoping you get a glorious autumn.
Oh I sincerely hope our summer does not vanish! We all thought that we had escaped winter, and then came the big freeze. The car did not leave the garage for just over 2 weeks!! I have been frozen again today and it was hot by comparison to the freeze, we were at 5C today. After -18C I would say that I should feel warm but it did not!! Roll on summer. Diane
There was that week in Spring - maybe summer decided that would be enough. I'd like some more myself but it was frosty this morning.
Bother!

Hi Everybuddy, we had next to no summer either. If you find yours next year can you send it to us too. Thanks for your comment too. No Worries is a bit of a South Australian saying. I suppose if I think about it, it sort of means 'thanks' e.g. if you helped look after your neighbour's cat while they were away and they said to you 'thanks for caring for the cat' you would then say 'no worries'. Or if you loaned a friend a book and they said thanks, you'd say No worries. A bit strange I know but that us Aussies hehe. See you soon. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (and Carol)
Oh dear... we didn't get a summer last year... maybe the sun's batteries are running low! Hope it recharges them on the way back to us.... I Need Sun! Love seeing all your craft work - very impressed. As indeed I'm sure Zebbycat is..as long as it doesn't distract too much from Zebbycat time.... ;-)
That's funny Mickle. We have had a very mild summer here, can't complain when we only had a couple of really hot patches.
I hadn't realised that your summer had been so awful. That is terrible having to go straight into Winter after experiencing such a bad summer.
I am, of course hoping for a good one and I must say, that our winter was very mild this year.
Give Zeb cat a cuddle from me. I think he probably wouldn't care what the weather was doing as long as he had you and his sleeping duvets!

Hello Mickle
Not our ususal warm summer here either - was either stinking hot and humid or freezing cold and wet.
I did get 'some' beans and tomatoes - not too many tho'
Take care

I always used to want to live Sept. to March in the Northern Hemisphere and March to August in the Southern. Now I may decide to change to all year around in NZ if it means no summer!
I hear you sista! We barely have a proper summer over here in Orange (New South Wales). One can only hope the next summer will be better. :)
Olá Mikle... Obrigada pela visita em meu blog e pelo recado.
Estou seguindo o seu. Ficarei feliz se quiser SEGUIR MEU BLOG TAMBÉM (JON THIS SITE MY BLOG TOO).
Bom final de semana com amor das amigas do Brasil ...

The same can be said of winter here...no snow... no ice...I fear Spring will be to hot...I console you dear friend...
hugs Sandi
That was ours last summer as you probably recall me moaning about! Things have certainly taken a change around haven't they!
I had the same installation failure notice for my winter! You'll notice I wasn't crying over my missing snow! I just hope we can get something out of the garden this summer.
Love that image with the 404 error. Did you create that ?
Just found you c/o a comment you left on Sian's Orkney Small Island blog.
Hope you have a lovely autumn.
