Light Relief

"A Palmerston North road is blocked and police are warning of delays after a truck carrying a load of bananas overturned.

The spilt bananas are being picked-up from the road by hand, which police say may take some time."

yummy banana split - but aren't kiwi police thought any table manners - sorry street manners? Eating by hand isn't quite immaculate.

Ah, in these harsh economic times every banana must be saved, and the masses prevented from looting them.

Just imagine if it was a truckload of eggs!

a "truck load of eggs" would be messy! :) Banana's all over the road must be a sight though.

Dear Stephen

The bananas are imported into NZ as green unripe bananas, then ripened in special ripening places, brfore being let loose on the population like this lot

Still- yes would have been quite a sight, with the Police helping to rescue the bananas, in their banana whole bunches. Leave all this to our imagination = very funny thoughts and thunks. Many smiles and chuckles from me ........
