Happy New Year

I've been lucky with the weather here in Tauranga. Only rained on a couple of days and, until today, hit has been a pleasant 20-22c. Today (Dec 31) it is at 25c and sunny.

The photo above is of dear Dad pruning the Port Wine bush. Yes that is a chimney pot to his left. Dad has wired it up with a light inside! This is part of their back garden.

I've just had my first haircut in a year. Soooo much lighter on the bonce. Dear Mum's friend, the lovely Heide, cut it for me. Heide's cat is even fatter than my 7 kilo Zebby!
~~~
Super best wishes for the New Year, I hope 2009 is a kind and happy year for you all.
(haven't forgotten to post about xmas dindins - just haven't got to it yet. Hey, been busy watching the cricket test over in Melbourne. South Africa not only Beat Australia but also won the test series. We are very happy with the result!)
Happy New Year my dear Mickle. May your wildest dreams come true such as New Zealand beating Australia.
Deararling Gomad. NZ is currently ranked eighth in the Cricket Test ratings. Only Bangladesh in lower than us.
Soon will be a tri-one day series - Aussie, SA and NZ - um, suggest for success and happiness you support Seeth Afreca. At least it will really annoy Craig McMac!
2 hours, 21 mins into 2009 - nothing major or minor has occurred.
Have a happy day with your darling Tono. Maybe in 2009 I'll work out how to add those important punctuation wotsits that sit above the alphabet letters.
Word verification is "bariatic" - mean anything in Swiss German?
Huggles and snuggly warm love to you and T, xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Best wishes to you and Zebby in 2009! We're not quite there here on the opposite side of the world, but the minutes are ticking down. We bought some fireworks to set off in the front yard since we live out in the country.
Really enjoyed how you wished us a "kind and happy year"...right back at you!
I am hopelessly unknowing of the game of Cricket. I only know of the small bug that sings...but I'll wish SF the best of luck!
Peace to you.
I am so glad you stopped by. I didn't realize we are so close in ages. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
What is your commend on the first day of SA vs. Australia. Will their reign end?
Gomad - i commented, and it has vanished. Aussie have done very well with their first innings (mutter, mutter). However their captain was out without scoring a single run (hooray). Kiwi/Aussie rivalry is such in my family that we always support whoever else is playing Aussie.
Wishing you safe travels to, and safety in Mumbai. Care and huggles to you and your dear Husband, xxx
Happy New Year Mickle & Zebby, it's a bit belated I know - I guess I've been a busy dog. Just found out you are in Tauranga - my mum stayed there for six weeks in November 2006, whilst Uncle Hugh did some flying from Tauranga airport. She loved it. I think she stayed at Mt Maunganui. She got to see a fair bit of the North Island after doing the South Island in 1998 in LBM (Life Before Me). NZ is now her favourite country. You're lucky having warm. It was -5 here this morning and is -1 at the mo. It's bloody freezing.
Oh girl, I was so glad to see you drop by my place, I had lost you after bookmarking but am going to put you in my favorites so that does 't happen again! I just had my hair cut for the first time a dogs age, too! Love the feel of it, head feels ten pounds lighter...now if I could just get the rest of the body to feel that way! Love your dad's garden . You can tell he's an enthusiast!
Hugs
Sandi
