My feet were still cold so on went the new slippers too.
Today's find: $8.00 for a fine green/brown corduroy with a pretty floral border at the bottom.
It only needs a couple of side seams and a tunnel at the top for elastic
to give me a new skirt.
All ignored by the purrball. He is is giving attention to the camera .......

Socks are very excellent indeed and I am very impressed! Liz xx
Have a yarn stashed just for making some for you - hand dyed colour - "Inkpinkstink!" No aroma, my dear, just gorgeous, soft merino yarn in pink, purple, dark, dark red and dark, dark grey.
This yarn from Vintage Purls (down in Dunedin) is so lovely to knit - heaps nicer than that from my 1st socks. Am using some for 2nd pair (first sock at 55 rows!!!)
Like me Zebby is sleeping with a paw over his nose - like me he can't sleep with a cold nose ot tootsies. No - I aint making socks for him!!!
Wonderfully warm and lovely looking socks.
A very rotund Zeb cat who looks very contented. Perhaps you ought to knit him two pairs of mini socks to keep his paws warm in that sleet!

Great socks!!
I forgot to say that I like how your socks almost are the same colour as the rugs!
Zebby looks so very happy and contented! I think I might be as loved as he is - it's close anyway!
ps - Zebby has a fantastic human who loves him very very much! Lucky guy!
Zebby looks like he wouldn't budge for anything 'cept a bowl of warm milk, maybe. Your socks are nice...well done!
My first comment seems to have disappeared. I forgot to comment on the lovely quilt I can see on the back of your couch, love the colours and pattern.
Love the socks. Go on knit some for Zebby.
Finally I can comment! Blogger's been refusing to recognize me for the past 3 days! I love your skirt fabric, and zebby's little sleepy mat is so cute, too. Nice socks. It was cold here Tuesday - like 50 degrees for a high, and raining all day, so we needed socks, too!
Your courdoroy is beautiful and your socks are perfect! You are so talented and patient.
I pray that you are having a wonderfully blessed day.
Clever sock knitter! They also blend with the carpet! Purrs to Zebbycat.
Just been reading your idea about cutting the chicken up for freezing for one person. Why did I not think of that:) Diane
love the corduroy AND the patchwork quilt!
