Happiness returned when the owner of the next flat fixed the downpipe connection on Sunday. This was combined with a day of cold sunshine.
We still have sunshine due for most of this week, but with no wind and clear night skies we get frosty time too. Never mind - the sun gets to shine onto "our" bed in the afternoon and Zeb can be seen above his battered quilt/blankey more often!
but you get the idea of a half-awake Zebster out in the natural light!
The lad has worked out that his own unique need for daily food (multiple times a day)
is greater than any pleasant dreams of hibernation.
Besides, it is really good fun to snuggle up to Your human for an hour or two,
and then whallop her in the face to wake her up!!!
(even when you have ample food, water and clean litter supplies available).
Yes, way more fun than just walking over her sleeping body and demanding the best spot on "your" beddy-bise! (Although, performed infrequently, this gets its own rewards from her too).

Didn't you hear, cold showers are good for the constitution!
Hehehehe
Stay warm

Poor Zebby, getting wet! There's nothing worse for a cat than that!
Stay snug and warm inside, Zebby! And make sure you keep that Human of yours under your paw!
:-)
*hugs*
Well, we are there to "serve" them aren't we? Cody does the same. pads out to the food bowl, crunches away and then back to snoozing. He does a very painful body massage, which usually results in him being pushed off the bed,lol
As a recovering cataholic I think you are all too soft with your cats - they are CATS, you are HUMANS. Ah. Yes. I see their point! Anyway, Michelle, Meek was demonstrating her training of her Human this evening so I've dedicated the posting on my blog to you and Zebby.
Glad Zebby can find some sunshine to comfort him between the showers! We've had hot weather and thunderstorms, so Thor has to tolerate boomies and rain at the same time!
Warming snuggles to both of you!
Thats one very contented puss you have there Michelle.
Wild wet and woolly weather here this arvo, so maybe will reach you by the beginning of the next week.
Keep warm.
Cheers Joy.
Raining and cool here after a very warm and sunny spell. Mother Nature gets her own back!!
What a contented looking Zebby. Our weather has cooled down a bit now and is quite sensible after about 10 days of temperatures around 35, 36C which was even too hot for me! Luv Diane
Hello Mickle
Yes she (and all those before her) knows/knew which side their bread is/was buttered. Thats what they are there for isn't it - to love us and to beloved and protected in return.
Most of my cats have wanted to be outside in the fresh air - hence we have always had a run of some sort for those times when we weren't around to keep an eye on them.
Love the tigerish look of your old fellah - someone else who knows which side of his bread the buttes on lol
Take care
Cathy
That's an adorable shot of little Zebby, it's really captured the moment! Glad the guttering isn't drenching you both anymore - sheesh, what a gauntlet to run each time you step out of the house! It's been raining all week over here, a typical British summer (grin).
Too funny. That Zebby is definitely as spoiled as can be.
