We just had our "summer". Sunshine, but cold, from 24 March to 30 March!
Now, according to the Met Office, we can look forward to frost, snow and bloody low temperatures for Easter!
Then I suppose it will be the same as the last four years; overcast, rain, cold until November, then it will be overcast, rain, bloody low temperatures and SNOW!
