Introducing Zebedee

N.B. Cat loathers stop reading now, yes off you go, (not that I'm naming any of you but....)ByeBye.

This is my Zebedee, a rescue cat (incidentally showcasing some of my dear Mum's patchwork quilting)

We mutually adopted each other almost 2 1/2 years ago.
Zeb is a wussy boy - not a hunter, fighter or even a defender.

Instead Zebby excells at purring, eating, cuddles, snoozling, more eating, real sleeping complete with snores and close physical affection.

He yowls for rescue if he feels at risk and adores the subsequence huggles I deliver.

The lad plays at his pace only. After all his guesstimated age is 10.
Zeb is so tough he beheads flowers. This is a high speed action shot , honest.
Never wussey with me, 4 times last year he gave me a black eye. Trying to wake me for food and affection.

Currently sleeping without snoring, Zeb will no doubt get his back on me during the night - extended purring and affection at 3.00am is a good one.
Huggles etc,,,, from us

Is there any particular reason why Zeb had been baptised after a biblical character? Does Zeb like fish? Or is there another reason?

Zeb is so much like Binka it's scary! They should really meet up one day! :-) Love to both of you!

Gomad, he is named after Zebedee from the children's tv program "The Magic Roundabout" an English series which "overdubbed" a French one. Played here in the late 1960s/early 1970s. The character was closest to an english "jack in a box" toy and moved around on a big spring, going boinggg. My Zeb definately doesn't bounce or bound around

Janet, but Binka can catch living flies. Zeb pokes very cautiosly at dead ones, if he is feeling brave.

John.g, not just you, in fact mainly at others. Still, it was good for a bite!

You have a Zebedee too! Yours is very handsome with his stripes, mine was a steer (unfortunately probably steak by now). Glad the storm hasn't done too much to you down there, pretty bad is parts though, watching the news tonight. Blimey!

Cowgirl, we've been very lucky in Wellywood. The news shots tonight were frightening.

You name the Moos you're raising for beef?

On two trips to Siberia, we bought a living reindeer as emergency supply (we did not meet a soul for weeks while hiking through the taiga). Both times, we named the reindeer Shashlik. Luckily we never run out of food.
