His frequent purring is mostly welcomed, involves both the "in" and the 'out " breath, often with snuggley huggles.
And purrs while eating are really noisy from Zeb Cat, but okay.
Zeb's latest is ........................
Hiccups.
I soothe with strokes, but remain bewildered - he wasn't even eating or drinking before the latest hiccupping started. Guess is just another Zebbycat thang.

I have a friend who for years had a tabby cat who hiccupped and drooled. It's very strange to hold a cat who naps and drools on you! Hope Zebbycat doesn't develop that habit!
Hi Marjie
Probably just the end result of Zeb guzzling down his food earlier. Sometimes is like he is inhaling it - despite my verbal repremands!
Hope Thor haa a super happy time this weekend with all the special celebartions and live for him. He really is magnificent and a huggly beautiful bloke.
Care and huggles, Michelle and Zebbycat, xxx and purrumbes
LOL@the hiccupping cat :)

He sounds so cute. Perhaps he need burping. Well maybe not..... he might throw up a furball on your shoulder!
How is the weather down there. Autumnal or or has winter already arrived. Or - sorry for not knowing but I've never been in a place with the sun on the wrong side - is it summer now, i.e. the cold season?
Maggie May - burping Zeb? - too funny a thought. He has the claws......
Marmite toasty - Zeb does keep me toasty warm at night.
Oh, Gomad - talk to Mr Mac. NZ is not Aussie. NZ much lower key is the seasons, i.e. cooler. Ski resorts down south very happy with the really good, early dumping of snow 2 days ago.
Doesn't snow here in Wellywood, just sideways wet and windy with alternate cold blasts straight from the Sub-Antarctic or gale force wind with horizontal rain from the north for the next 5/6 months. Sometimes gale force AND wet/sleet/hail from the south. Umbrellas useless - woolley hats and hooded coats only.
At least this means we have hardly any air pollution in Wgtn - it all gets blown away......
Hey - hiccups is a nice variation from the usual super loud purring and high decibel snoring.
Kekoa gets into spurts of hiccups too. It has gotten less over the past couple of weeks. When I first brought him home it was an almost constant occurance.
Dear Jules - poor wee Kekoa, digestive system just getting going for the lovely puppy. Zebby is a guesstimated 11 years old, a rescue cat with food supply anxieties - and a love of eating. And, yes, spoilt incredibly by me.
Zebby loves cuddles and close contact and affection, especially now it is colder and he has his human hot water bottle readily available every evening.
I know - I am a complete pussycat pushover!
