Now I'm having problems with this newer laptop. I stopped with it on Friday so the swearing didn't happen until Saturday. I will do my best with blogging but all is currently only running in "safe mode" for the windows operating system. Will find an experienced, reliable and safe service here to fix it all.
I also have a Linux system on this laptop which is working fine - only it doesn't have all the apps that Dad had set up in Windows, knowing that I was trying to stay compatible with Work while enjoying the best of of the (far better) freeware that he uses.
Will do my best and avoid swearing at the beast now it is Easter Sunday.
On the plus side I have a boned and butterflied (by self) leg of local, grass fed spring* lamb in the fridge marinating in a mix of garlic, fresh rosemary, lemon zest, freshly ground black pepper, olive oil and a little lemon juice that I rubbed into the outer and inner surfaces. * I bought it back in September and have kept it frozen until now. This wont take long at all to roast for Sunday night dinner for myself and for Zebby - he loves lamb!
Happy Easter to you all, Mickle and Zebby - xxxxxx and zzz zzz zzz zzz zzz zzz zz zzzzzzzzzz

I'm on my way over for dinner!!
John, my matey, I would so love to cook for you and your dear Dad. And fill up your freezer with yummy "just thaw, add a mashed spud topping or mix in some pasta and throw in the oven for a bit" stuff like I do for myself.
Zebby doesn't know roast lamb is on the menu as he is still relishing the wood-smoked blue cod (an NZ cod different to your lot) we've been eating for the last 2 days - the Butchers in the next suburb do their own wood-smoking fo fish, etc....
Sending love, care and huggles to you both, Mickle and Zeb xxx and zz zzz zz
What time is dinner? I DO love NZ lamb.
That Zeb cat is really spoiled. Doesn't sound as though he ever eats anything out of a tin!
Happy Easter.

Sounds like you have a fine piece of meat planned. I forget how lucky I am to have two computer gurus in my life to handle issues like this - and best of all, they work for food and margaritas
I'm sorry your are having problems with your ordinateur. I'm so thankful I don't have to have something specific for a job and can have my sweet little Mac laptop, with dual operating systems. Makes life so much less complicated.
I'm smelling lamb through the airwaves, ha ha. And it does smell delish!
This is the first time in a long time we aren't having lamb for Easter. I'm having a brunch, so there's ham and cheese strata for the main dish. I'm doing juice and Proseco, asparagus, salad, stuffed eggs, hot cross buns, carrot cake, strawberries and cream, and Easter cookies. I think that ought to hold them.
Peggy and Scott are bring their newest rescue dog, Pond. She is such a little love. She would make about one bite for Mr. Z.
Hope your Easter is lovely and take care,
Priscilla
I also love lamb, can we come and join you. Have a great Easter. Diane
Zebby love lamb! My Miss Sugar won't touch anything that is seasoned. And then it is only a dainty taste! I have lamb in the freezer, too, and look forward to having some soon.
My lamb was "Fresh From New Zealand!" I thought of you when Dan brought it home from the market.
Glad you and Zebby had a good Easter. Thor's gotten Easter scraps for 2 nights now (we have Easter dinner on Saturday night for travel ease for the college kids), and is looking forward to more from the remainder of the lamb, getting ready to grace our table tonight! Evidently we season our lamb the same way, although I do stir a little mint jelly into the mix. I put the same seasoning on the potatoes when roasting, and they all disappeared. Good thing I saved a few bites from my plate for Thor, or he'd have had hurt feelings!
