It is getting cooler at night but we're okay. Zebbycat loves the new heater. I confess I had him in mind when I chose this one. Purrrfect for feline snoozling.
A comfy big cushion covered with his favourite bath mat and a smaller cushion for his tail ....... only sometimes Zeb goes into a happy daze and overheats. He then beats a hasty retreat to cool off - still in comfort of course! And with a firm paw on His bath mat

Oh, Zeb is so cute on his special cushion and bath mat! Thor heartily approves of you choosing a heater with Zeb in mind.
Your veggies look beautiful. Lucky you, being able to plant over winter as well. I'm getting ready for planting in a week or 2; the boys are excited. Thor will supervise, much as Zeb does.

Scabby the cat writes: That Zeb is one cool cat even in front of a blazing heater. But he is also one hot cat and I'm speaking as a feline woman of the world.
Dear Dumdad - is Scabby getting short sighted? Zebby is a rotund pear shaped bloke cat (minus a couple of bits). Zeb is not a fighter or a defender, more of a wussycat who howls for rescue by his human servant (With a dog you're the Master, with a Cat you're just staff).
Ah - maybe Scabby is looking for a super affectionate Master Purrrrrrer. She'd get that as long as she never came between Zebby and his food or blankie(s), or His human.
He has a blind spot with foot care too - happily wanders through puddles and drinks from the shower base, then wanders about with cold, damp paws and tootsies - all the better to snuggle up to his human with!

How wonderful that Zebby is pampered with the amazing heater unit designed jsut for him. (That is what he chooses to think anyway right?)
I loved your commentary on the Bond movies. It so happens that my hubby is a Bond maniac and we have every single movie ever made here. I too prefer Sean Connery and the new Daniel Craig.
This last weekend we had a band from New Zealand play at our church. They are called the Parachute Band. I really enjoyed them and it all made me think of you.

Delightful Zebbycat, perfectly positioned in front of the heater, and the tail-cushion to protect that delicate part of his body...Ha-ha!! I've always thought that having a natural fur coat would making living in cooler places much easier...you learn to simply move to the most comfortable distance, rather than pulling coats on and off. Silly humans, with only skin!!
