Sorry about that, dear Mickle! Does sunshine help? It does help my DH. He doesn't do well in a long stretch of gray days. And there you are in wintertime. Poor baby!

Oh dear Mickle, I hope your are in good care.

We are just making what we call Mickle's Minted Beaf & Rice Noodle Salad.

Take care & be safe

i suppose sun helps - if i were in your position, i would probably be reading loads of books, making loads of tea, and doing lots of handcraft work up until the wee hours of the morning with the tv on

Sorry you're feeling low Michelle, hope Zeb is keeping you warm.

Remember that old Monty Python song ?

"always look on the bright side of life"

Sing it a few times, that may cheer you up, and if it doesn't, this might...........

...I heard on the News that the recent earthquake has moved NZ closer to OZ!!!! Or was that what put you in the doldrums? :-)

Thank you, everyone, very much.

And, yes, it's officcial. The southern part of New Zealand is now 30cm closer to Australia!

And how does it feel like to be so close to Australia?

Special Friends - I'm working on looking at the bright side of life.

Dear Olive - will sing it coz Mickle can't whistle. Life of Brian was the first R16 movie i saw. I was - just - aged 16.

Dear Pilgrim - sending healing to that ripped muscle. Not what a young man needs in the middle of his Summer Holidays. Dare I say that you are a sweetie. Hey - you're definitely cute!

Dear Gomad - my GP has had me in his books since I was 14. Will be blasting the dear man's ear next week about current medication. I am safe.

Dear Maria and Mary- last night lots of knitting (Zebbycat was asleep in the bedroom) while watching the season's double episode finale of Grey's Anatomy worked well.

To All - is only the bottom part of NZ that has moved closer to Aussie. Wellington still in the same spot and I'm here in my wee home - right on top of another major faultline!!

Zebby is fine - completely useless as an earthquake 'early warning system', but still a smoochy, loving purring lad. He cuddles up when he senses I'm feeling very low - he's probably concerned I might forget to feed him!!!LOL

Olive said...

Yes dear Mickle, your comment about Zeb. worrying that you may forget to feed him......he's a male after all said and done !! LOL

Hope you are feeling better.

Glad you have Zebbycat cuddling up to you. My dear Fitzicat used to do the same. Button just gives me a look which says "get over yourself".... I can empathise with how you are feeling. Clinical depression is so damned hard to deal with. Take care and hugs to both of you!

Sorry to hear about that Mickle! Hope you are feeling better now? How about that the Aussies got beaten at cricket? Does that cheer you and Zebbycat? It certainly does for me. ;) (Hope the weather is being good for you and helping you with the depression. It looks as if Autumn has already set in here and August has a few days to go yet.) Hx
