All his own work.
Today Zeb helped himself to the cut off ends of some sausages
from the rubbish.
Didn't last long - they were Chorizo!!

(I found the rest abandoned on the floor. Yes - of course he's okay)

Lets see if I can type correctly this time!
Maybe he'll learn not to to raid the bin - but then again no, he's a cat :-)
Glad to hear you're both OK and no problems following the earthquake.

Dearest Deborah
Great to hear from you, your farm must have you so, so busy.
Zebby does like pork and I now realise it is many months since I treated him with some. Cooking chook legs tomorrow, maybe some pork on Monday???
Super care and many loving huggles, Michelle, xxxxxxx
(Zeb is asleep, with proper sleeping noises that don't include snoring, silent woohoo from me)
Curious (and ignorant) minds want to know...what are "chook legs"?
John loves chorizo and scrambled eggs. It's a bit too hot for me, but it is tasty. I'd definitely wonder about Zebbycat if he liked chorizo. 8^)
I always empty the bin so Thor is not tempted! I loved your story of the dog you loved as a child. My little guy has always been this way with Thor, and his older sister was this way with his predecessor. Some kids just love nose to nose time with their dogs!
I'm glad Zebby is OK after his adventures with sausage, and hope you both thrive despite the winter doldrums. I'm keeping you hungry for a kitchen garden now, and it will be your turn to make me long for summer in December, right?
Have a lovely weekend,
Marjie

In NZ and Australia chicks, chickens and hens are referred to as "chooks". Apologies Mary - I use this term without even thinking about it.
No problem! I love to learn new terms for things.
Glad Zebby is OK :) Award for you over at mine. Hx
My and my parents cats won't touch "plain" human food. It always has to have spice--coriander chicken, for example: Bean just sits at the kitchen door waiting for some, but if you give him plain chicken (roasted with s&p), he won't touch it.

Oh Jasmine - the pusscats have dined too well? or maybe have been enticed by the wonderful aromas from both Jasmine and her Carda-Mummy's kitchen.
I brined a couple of whole chicken legs last week (water, salt, brown sugar) then roasted them. Zeb loved the aroma but got bored with me cooking and went to bed. Later he tasted his serving - then left it.
Contrary darlings! much care to you, Jasmine, especially in July,
Michelle xxxxxx
