Now these dear Uncles are Twin Brothers.
Try growing up with identical twin Uncles - it was years before I could tell them apart.
Uncle Frank would have looked more relaxed if the dear man wasn't also keeping an eye out for his dear wife, my lovely Aunty Rae. Our Rae has had a very rotten time with dastardly Sciatica for a long while now.
Uncle Roy was very recently returned from yachting related travels to South Korea. A Country he described as being "interesting"!!!
The family likenesses here start at the nose. When dear Mum visited the Relies in Northern Ireland in recent times I thought I would see something similar about their eyes - nope, the noses won!!

Good morning Mickle and Mr Zebby.
So glad to hear you are doing better. Yes there is definitely a strong family resemblance in your family.
You wrote a few days back about a man being hit. My goodness just like my story....what is wrong with people? I can't wrap my brain around the idea of wanting to parade around like that.
I do hope you can find your camera so we can see cutie Mr Zebby-cat with his shaved patches.
Blessings to you today.
Hi there! In my family it´s noses too. :-D Even my little bro at age 7 shows already similaries. Propz Pilgrim ...p.s. thx for your recent visit. :-)
Dear Jules
luckily Zebbycat's "bloke bits" are still covered with fur, well, what is left for the dear neutered lad.
Zeb has shaved bits on his neck, both front leggies and his very ample abdomen. His tum gets cold.
the naked bloke here was (please) a once off - silly man, there is no space for pedestrians in the bus tunnel. It has traffic lights at either end as it only has one lane.
meanwhile yours was
"An Experience"
- unwanted and unasked for. So it wasn't a cold day then?
Zeb well settled - already whacked me in the eyelid, nose and gifted me with a vertical scratch on my left cheek.
Hoping Kekoa is far better behaved -dogs can be trained! Cats just contrarily are.
Hello Pilgrim,
so lovely to "hear from you".
Has your academic year finished, or are you continuing with your PhD work over your Summer?
Hope you get to enjoy some warmth and happy, relaxed times,
care and huggles, Michelle and daft darling Zebbycat
Oh, Pilgrim - Look at Dad and Phil's eyebrows, eyebrows you can't miss!
Phil's sole grandson, currently 16, has inherited the Eyebrows too!
(Dad and Mum don't have any grandchildren, just the 2 daughters. I describe myself as stroppy daughter number 2. Older sister not so happy that this means she is stroppy daughter number 1. Still - I'm geting away with it!!!)
Much care to you, dear Pilgrim, :o)
The family likenesses are amazing! I can see it in everything.
Good calls there Mickle!
LOL, with us it's the ears...a Douglas can spot a Douglas in a crowd by our ears! What a handsome crew your Mum and Uncles make!
hugs
Sandi
OHOH, big hugs to Zebbycat!!!
Sandi
Good morning Michelle,
Your Mum and her brothers all look so much alike, are you sure that they are not identical triplets? :-)
Like Sandi, the common trait in my family are the ears, very long lobes that seem to continue to grow as you age. :-(
I'm having trouble with my camera so I haven't been able to post a blog for a while.
Take care, keep warm. XO
Sandi and Olive
Dear Friends, I too have inherited the ear shape and size from Dad's side, not the little ear lobes Mum has.
My ear lobes continue to grow in size and length. However I have Dad's long eyelashes..at a price....
I could have done without the very hirsuteness too. Sister Liz is the complete opposite and is clueless about living with this is our Western world and about the taunting and bullying through my school days. Thank goodness I got to go to a Girls' Secondary School. That was bad enough, but co-ed would have been far, far worse.
The western world continues to be appalling over pale skinned women that are naturally hirsute. I used to be, and still occasionally am, very upset by this.
These days I am more likely to be Bloody Furious!!!
