Early Springtime

Considering that Winter started here a month early I think it is only fair that Spring has too. Passed several trees blossoming today. My grape hyacinths have lots of blue spikey flowers growing upwards and the Sun Shone.....

Next few days Help

Thu Fri Sat Sun Mon
12°C 14°C 12°C 12°C 13°C
4°C 4°C 6°C 7°C 7°C

Yes, several days in a row with drying winds and sunshine. AND this will continue until at least Monday.

Can you tell I've also had my medication altered? No - thought not (LOL).

Any sign of spring always lifts your spirits. Of course, some spirits might lift your spirits, too. (sorry)

I love it when my grape hyacinths appear. The very first here is a glorious yellow shrub called forsythia.

I'll trade you some of our mid90 F days this week, though.

Dear Mary - there is a bottle of a very pleasant NZ gin, a prsent from my dear sister back in June, only it is at my folks home. All is safe - they don't drink gin!

Will email you properly soon.

Fascinated by your new portugeuse knitting method - is it like the mid european where the moving needle is in the right hand and the yarn is moved by the left? No wonder ssk is a puzzle, would slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over be easier??

I've only just mastered SSK after using PSSO.

Will email very soon....Zebbycat snoring in a gentle sighing manner

My GP agreed my depression was worse overall. This dear man, Ken, has has me on his practice books as a patient since late 1979.

No thank you to your temps, i'll stay in my temperate maritime climate in the middle of the SOuthern Hemisphere's roaring 40s.

Your spring temp is what our summer temp is and has been all along. A few warmer days but nothing to write about.

Drats. My pool is never going to warm up!

Hi dear Michelle, I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better.

Nothing better to lift your spirits than to see the spring bulbs coming into flower, ...or a nice dry gin over ice....I'll take mine with Schweppes bitter lemon, thanks.

Glad you are feeling better and nothing like spring time to lift your spirits :)

Hugs to Zebbycat!

Spring time will always lift your spirits. It seems to me to be the best medication of all. I like your sunshine icons for the next 5 days. Mine are all thunderstorm icons for the next 5 days. Telly Zebbycat not to laugh at Thor cowering under the table. Huggles from NEPA!

I'm sure Spring will give you a boost - and Zebbycat too.

Gin and tonic for me please, I always feel better once the days start getting longer and there is more sun. My grape hyacinths have produced a measly two flowers so far.

Wow - you are all giving me a huge lift.

Spring doesn't usually start here until September. Winter did start a month earlier than usual and was sooo gray and dismal for 2 months.

Dare I tell that the fine weather will now last until at least Wednesday. And Zebby is delighted that the sun is high up enough to beam down on "our" bed in the afternoons.

Zebby would never laugh at Thor cowering coz of Thunder - coz in the same situation Zeb hides in the wardrobe (closet), as far in as he can get. Plus Thor is much bigger and taller than Zeb!! I do think Zebedee eats more related to body size than glorious Thor. Ahh - I doubt Thor gets fur balls.

Many thanks to wonderful people for keeping my spirits so lifted,

Michelle xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
