I Made it to Work

For the first time since mid May I made it into my workplace. AND I actually solved some data problems.

And the major data extract puzzle they had in July I think isn't one.

Now, I came up with the solution midway through the supermarket shopping.

The info was all there for them - if they took the time to read the data specification, full available to them, then try the maths within it.

This post has been majorly mild-ed down.

Parents - along with whatever else your kids may learn, insist and check on comprehension. An old fashioned word in learning, yet an essential skill.

WORK????? That's such a 4-letter-word! Sorry about that.

Our children's minds have been anesthetized by 30 second sound-bites ala Sesame Street and simplistic dummy-downed books, etc. Comprehension is rarely taught well in public schools in the US. I sympathize with you, and also congratulate you for feeling well enough to get into work and hope your well being continues.

Welcome back at the coal face. Colleagues have a talent to be complete wankers. However, I always have to remind myself that if there were no problems, I would not receive any wage.

Well, I learnt my stuff, before some of my former teachers were there, and even some of my profs these days are a bit behind my rather quick comprehension of my studies. So, tell this to the teachers and profs as well! :-) Propz Pilgrim

Sorry Mickle you have lost me at data :)
but isn't it great how a solution to a problem will come to you when you are probably not even actively thinking about it.

Dear Mary, I know - since retirement Mary and John only work 7 days a week!!!

Dear Pricilla - if only they would read a bit. They must have Had to do some reading to get their Degrees!!!

Urs - happy birthday yet again on this, the twenty first of August.

Dear Pilgrim, I'm thinking the Profs and your Uni tutors find you a challenging student - keep it up, such intelligence should be a challenge to the establishment. Super care and much love, Michelle, xxx
