Apologies for the lack of posts, I'm switching stuff from my heirloom PC (which is keeling over) onto Dear Dad's cast off laptop. Wow, the laptop is sooo fast in comparison I've been having fun playing on it.
What's been happening here in Mickle-land? Zeb went back to his vet for a check up last Monday. He has healed beautifully so we morphed the visit into his annual check up. All going fine until he was taken in to another room for blood tests. The puss that returned was growling and grouching, he was now in a real grump. Zebby continued to grumble as his temperature was taken, his joints checked and vaccination given. Only the third time in our three years together that I've heard him growl.
He disgraced himself and me by pooping in his cage on the way home in a taxi. Cab driver not amused!
Rest of week ticked along with me cooking, Zebby snoozling when he wasn't being either very clingy or easily spooked by nothing at all. And Summer ended yesterday with rain pouring down all over the country. So that was February!
PostScript: - Okay, Yeah, not feeling brilliant -innards and complications as result of continue, still clicking into new depression medication (don't bother with Prosac jokes - it had stopped working for me hence the new stuff) and other bits (like gynae) still cause problems. And I am appalling at asking for help, support etc.... Zebby does help, seems to pick up when I'm worse than usual. If only I could sense that in myself too.......
And a laugh - since entering the blog world as I find myself writing/commenting to many with English as a 2nd or 3rd language I find I am consulting my Concise Oxford Dictionary* more and more, to check I've got the words and/ or the spelling right in my only language - please laugh with me,
Huggles, M'dears, Care and Huggles
* 1982 version of the Seventh Edition. It includes such new words as "Cruise Missile" and "Ayatollah". In 2009 these 2 words seem very usual. So the World moves on..........

Welcome to March, Mickle (though, technically you were here before me).
The German term for house-trained is stubenrein which translates parlour clean. Non of the above includes taxis. I loath taxi drivers anyway. And as I can see, a sibling of Zeb could be handy at times.
I guess Zeb pooped to show his ire at being messed about at the Vets. Honestly, why you humans do it to us I really don't know - make us suffer the Vets. Then you try to tell us it is for our own good - yeah, right! Mum does that too. I'm not buying. Sorry that you're suffering Mickle. I wish there was something I could do. Anyway, here's a 'virtual' cuddle and lick xxxxx
Oh Henry, dear Zebby had tried to hide that his lip was super sore. And he was successful in hiding it for many days.
Only when that nasty abscess wos at its worstest did he let me see it. I understand this way of hiding it comes from before he was with me, and his life wos not nice.
Then When Zeb thought HE WAS HEALED, nasty humans checked out other stuff too.
OOOOO if only all was simple now - becoz Zebby's renal system might, just might not be well. Urine tests next....
Fingers and toes crossed, so leggies don't have to be, both Zebs and mine.
Wish Henry, and Gomad and Tono woz here now, only -
coooo orr I'd have to do a massive clean up. Dumpster bins up at the footpath for to remove my clutterings,,,
dear blokes of the Henry, Gomad and Tono style - thoughts from you are fine, welcomed, appreciated.
Mickle let loose on a laptop is dangerousness???????
HI Mick. Sorry to hear Zebby has been less than his usual gentlemanly self, I guess he has been under the weather. On the subject of which, it is is lovely and sunny here but they have threatened it'll go grotty again. Hohum. Lotsa love
TEC xx
Zeb is such a cutie in the picture below. I am glad Zeb is getting better. And the humiliation of him messing in his cage on the taxi ride. Those trips can be ever quite traumatic. At least he was in a cage and not roaming free in the car. ;-)
It seems everyone is going to the vet lately. I just read a funny post by Sandi of her ordeal with taking her cat to the vet.
I have to check my spelling often too....as well as my fingers not working right with the keyboard and typing words half backwards.
Blessings to you today.
Hiya Liz - Zebby doing fine now, though he has slowed down. His favourite snoozling place is the wonderful bed you bought me 10 years ago. His fav spot = all of it. How is the exhibition going???? xxxxxxxx MLC, Zebster pretending to sleep behind me on "our bed"
Hi Jules - hope you're continuing your re-discovery of your dear wonderful self. I do so appreciate the blessings you pass to me.
