Zebbycat Helps Me Through...

With his love for affection and cuddles. His smooching even when I'm tired and feeling grotty and lacking makeup. These two pics are from March 2008. Had spent the weekend moving stoves (cookers) down and up my 54 steep steps. Despite my lack of sleep, grunge appearance, scraped back hair and the parents invasion Zeb just carried on -

doing things his way, and showing his love of food, huggles and snuggles, food, and tickles under the chin. And his need for snuggles, huggles and rescue cat assurance that he is the most loved one (as if he wasn't!)

All surrounded with hugely loud PURRRRRUMBLING!

That's my lad!!!

What would we do without our lads?

What were the stoves for?

For Mickle.

Back when I bought my place in 1990 the stove was very old and useless. The folks then retired moved northwards and put in a new kitchen in their new home, so I got the cast off cooker. The grill was dodgy and the oven did fan grill and nothing else, but it was an improvemnt for me.

Folks moved in 2002, did up kitchen again in 2007, so I got cast off stove/cooker No.2. The folks had got one with an electric oven and gas hob/cook top.

I got one a cast off No. 2 that is all electric and fully functioning, I've been a happy cook ever since.

Yes, a gas hob would be nice, but a ceramic one gives me extra bench/counter space. The oven gives choice of fan or not with bake or grill.

No wonder my waistline has disappeared!!!!!!

My lad is pretend-sleeping, watching for me to get to bed, my dear, daft darling,

xxx Mickle.

There is nothing more soothing than a spoiled cat!! No matter what chaos is going on around our house, I love that the cats seem to ignore all of it and still try to cuddle up to us!

Hi Dana - yep, and take over your heart anyway.

Hope all is going well over Kay's big long summer break - her 2 cats will make sure it is! Now, not too much auditing, dear Dana.

Love to you all

Mickle and Ol' snuggleboy, xxx

Pilgrim - have you cast off the gf?

Mel - huge relief to get your comment. Cats are more reliable than sons - cos you know the cat is going to be a right contrary wotsit anyway! - am guessing the leg hasn't fallen off then, huh? So wish I was over there to look after you and the chooks. Huge gentle HUGGLES, and no telling off this time, xxx

looking at the size of him, I wonder how you aren't size 2 from all the exercise you get just picking him up! He looks so self satisfied. He has done such a good job training you.

Pets don't worry what we look or feel like. They are always there for us as long as they get their food and love. But hey....... you look fine to me!
