Back to normal

Another cold southerly blast arrives in Wellington!

I took these photos about 8 minutes apart:

I shouldn't have been suprised - it is my Birthday and this is exactly how I remember it being from childhood. Yep - Summer in Wellington.

A few hours later and the horizontal rain started to lash at the windows. This has the advantage of cleaning the outside of the windows, but then the grubbyness shows on the inside!

Happy Birthday Mickle!

The photos of the changing horizon are fantastic!
You have lovely views even when blotted out by mist!

A belated happy birthday, Michelle...so did you get out in the rain and do something special -like buy some nice cheese and wine to celebrate? I hope it was a wonderful day. I'm sure Zebby gave you lots of love to make the occasion purrrrrfect.

Thor is howling his happy birthday wishes to you. His singing is not, shall we say, recording star quality. I made a Chocolate Banana Split Streusel Swirl Cake in your honor last night.

Your view is splendid. I love the three shots showing the fast change in scenery! Happy Birthday, dear Michelle!

Hugs and Doggy Drools from the snowy Northern Hemisphere, and especially Marjie and Thor!

Hello Mickle
Life can a bummer sometimes can't it - one minute you are showing us the gorgeous view from your place and the next minute we are enjoying a downpour and no view.
Still, you must agree its free water (for the water tanks) and free window washing service at the same time
Do hope you enjoyed your birthday and opened a nice bottle of whatever toook your fancy
Take care
Cathy

Dear Maria - was completely by chance - I was washing a wee mountain of dishes and looked up between sink loads. My new digital camera did the work ........ and Zebbycat slept on, bless him
