Not nice in Wellington yesterday, now and for tomorrow. Currently have horizontal rain whacking at the windows from a wet, windy and soggy Southerly storm, Humidity at 100% and temperature at 10C but with wind chill will feel like 7C outside.
Dear Weather Daeities, please give Wellywood back her summer ........ soon, pretty please.
Even Zebbycat, lover of heat, snoozle and sleep, my much loved feline lad is fed up. He is sleeping under his quilt as much as he can in between food, litter tray stops, cuddles and Mickle brushing his fine yet very thick feline coat at least once daily. Mickle does the litter tray clean ups.His next cuddle stop is coming up as Mickle goes to bed.
Keep warm and dry, Northern Hemispherers, we'll work on the dryness factor for Wellywood and much rain for the northern bits of NZ like my dear Dad's veggie garden,

Slightly warmer here in London town now. 6 degrees at the moment and not a even bit of white stuff left around, which is nice :)

Our high today is 5C - so very close to yours. Isn't that amazing?!
I spent my summer feeling like you do now! We got to 40 here (I think that's about 2 for you), and that's our "January Thaw". It's a little early. Next week it will be frigid again. But at least the snow drifts in my driveway will melt off a bit.
There was an article in my paper today about the dolphin in your area who plays with people. It made me laugh.
We got some sunshine today and the thaw took all that nasty snow. Things are looking brighter right now.

Nuts in May
Yep, Wellington and summer do not go together this year. I almost had to put the heater on on Saturday which is pretty ridiculous! I am off to Nelson at the end of February for a week - that may be my only exposure to summer this year!
Sounds awful weather what with 100% humidity. Can't imagine what that would be like. Hope it gets warmer soon.
Haven't really noticed the weather in Essex. Has been dull today but not too cold. Glad the snow has gone.
