Puppy Jerseys

As modelled by a couple of soft toys because of the absence of any doglets - and the strong and swift presence of Zebbycat's claws. It is also way too warm for living beings to model woolley jumpers today.

These are for the SPCA who need the jerseys over the winter months for puppies that come in. A chain of yarn shops here is promoting this charity drive. It was great to knit these on the cooler days we had.

The pattern supplied even includes a version for the boy puppies that has an inverted V at the middle of the lower front so the lads don't wet their woollies!

I'm so impressed. I once tried to crochet a jumper for my daughter's dog, but, not being too familiar with the K-9 anatomy, I didn't get the arm holes in the right place. But it was cute to look at - just not on the dog! I sent your post to Peggy so she could see what an accomplished knitter could do. I'm looking forward to her reaction.

Dear Priscilla, happy to copy the pattern and snailmail send it to you for Peggy. Only needs basic knitting and counting skills. Is the pattern maker tha is accomplished

Apologies for lack of contact in recent months - life and health hiccups got in the way. Sending care, love and many huggles,

Michelle and a quietly snoring Zebbycat

That is a wonderful idea. What a pity that they don't do that kind of thing here, as I would have loved to knit some!

That is such a sweet idea, Michelle! You'll have the most stylish doggies in your part of the world!! Zebbycat will be jealous so you might have to get to work for the kitties, too!

Hi Michelle,

It is so nice to read your comment on my blog, I have thought about you several time over this horrible horrible winter we have had, so far we have had a total of 60 inches of snow where we usually receive 20 inches in an avg. year.
My disability was approved after waiting for near 4 years. I lost phone service and internet service, I am on a wireless signal now.
I hope all is well down there for you and I am very much in envy of your summer time here, this week we are having temps above 32 degrees first time in months!!!
