Looking down the driveway to the residence of the Greek Ambassador - only he isn't home as there isn't a Greek flag flying from the flagpole. The hills in the far distance are over on the east side of the harbour. That's the letterbox for the flats by the bottom of the street light on the right and the handrail at the top of our steps.
Having two diplomatic residences in the street makes for a very safe place to live - the NZ Police Force's diplomatic protection squad regularly cruise the street.
Meanwhile "His Nibs" was down checking out His garden. Everything seemed to be in the right place.....
...and there were some interesting smells to check out

Its a very beautiful spot you live in Michelle.
Hope you haven't a cold...word verification COUGH !
Well, it's a good thing Zebby was on patrol in the garden. What if there had been a threat around that interesting smell?
My town is so tiny (1 square mile) and the police are so bored, that there is simply no crime in this town at all. Gee, when they have time to investigate the "crime" of someone backing into a driveway lamppost and knocking it down, then fleeing the scene, you know things are slow here. It's a good thing.
You live in a beautiful place. Sounds quite a safe place too.
Zeb cat was really interested in something, wasn't he?

Hello Mickle
You are part of a slect band of bloggers - those who enjoy fantastic views from their windows and surrounds. No common or garden views for you lol
Winter here also, yes it gets mighty cold in suburban Melbourne - snow a couple of hours up the road, lots of daytrippers making their way up and down to finger nipping pleasure.
BTW Cathys Capers has changed its name (now Still Waters) and also its address. This link should take you there Still Waters
Do drop in some time I'd love to see you
Take care
Cathy
Sorry to disappoint you all - Zebbycat was looking for decent stands of grass to munch on.
No - not for furrball relief (cos he gets a thorough brush every day). Zebbycat likes to munch on grass for his digestive health, and cos he likes the taste .... which saves me having to share my baby spinach leaves with him.
Lovely views Michelle, cats do seem to love their grass don't they? Cody is, shall we say, passionate about grass and usually gets his servants to serve it to him daily.
Every time I see photos of Wellington I'm reminded of how similar it looks to Dunedin!
Love pussycat photos :-) More are always enjoyed!
what a lovely post - i enjoyed seeing all those photos of my old town
the weather looks perfect for me too - we have just been through a heatwave, and are now enjoying very breezy (but not blustery) cool summer weather; i love to feel the wind on my skin after feeling particularly parched for so long - not to mention the fact that we can sleep better at nights too!
Oh!! How did I miss these pics and this post?!
Doesn't Zebby look cute! Tracking a smell and patrolling his territory!
Loved the pics my friend! Better than google earth!
